At Home Game Tester – Beginner Level (No Experience Required)

Roles: You'll test games before their official release and contribute to making them the best they can be. Your mission is to uncover everything that could hurt the player experience—whether it's crashes, frame rate issues, unresponsive controls, or unusual game behavior. You're essentially our quality champion, ensuring that when players get their hands on these games, they work flawlessly and are genuinely enjoyable.

Rate:

• $35 hourly rate, with adjustments based on game complexity and testing demand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Systematically play through unreleased titles to identify bugs, technical glitches, performance hiccups, and gameplay irregularities.
• Compose comprehensive summaries highlighting game mechanics, visual quality, narrative flow, and overall player satisfaction.
• Execute targeted test cases across multiple configurations and hardware to verify stability and functionality.
• Communicate findings with team members and developers to exchange observations, brainstorm approaches, and coordinate improvements.
• Maintain thorough records of your work, submit well-organized bug documentation, and deliver constructive observations on a consistent basis.

Requirements:

• Experience gaming across various systems and multiple genre categories.
• Strong ability to detect problems that average players typically overlook.
• Capacity to translate technical problems into straightforward language for both engineers and creative staff.
• A genuine investment in gaming as both a hobby and professional interest.
• Dependable internet connection and the necessary hardware or gaming device for your assigned projects.
