Entry Level App Critique Writer - No Experience

Passionate about mobile apps? Can you spot both the brilliant features and the frustrating flaws? We're hiring Entry Level App Critique Writers to review language-learning apps and share your honest feedback. You'll explore everything from quick vocab drills to full-featured courses and write detailed critiques covering performance, user-friendliness, and how engaging the experience really is. Your reviews will guide learners toward the best options and give product teams valuable direction for their next updates.

Roles: You'll install and interact with apps on your personal device in real-world contexts. Once you've spent quality time with each app, you'll document your findings, flag any technical problems, and give your genuine perspective on what makes it work or fall short.

Requirements: You'll need at least one smartphone or tablet capable of running apps: an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet.

Contract length: Ongoing (no fixed deadline—continue working with us as long as it works for everyone involved).

Rate: $35 per hour (compensation can go higher based on app complexity and the thoroughness your review demands).

Skills/background needed:

  • A functioning phone or tablet with app download capability
  • Independence and accountability—we trust you to manage your workload without micromanaging
  • Sharp attention to detail and commitment to excellent writing
  • At least 5 hours per week to dedicate to the work
  • Reliable, consistent internet access

Hours per week: You control your schedule—balance this role with whatever else is going on in your life.

Location: 100% remote—based anywhere in the world (we're especially interested in hearing from applicants in the US). We're currently growing our reviewer team across multiple regions.
