Junior Technical Writer for Digital Products

Are you a Junior Technical Writer who thrives on translating complex software into straightforward, easy-to-follow documentation? We're seeking someone eager to explore our digital products hands-on, test them across multiple devices, and help users navigate our tools with confidence. Your direct interaction with the software and honest feedback will shape how people engage with what we've built.

Roles: Your days will involve getting hands-on with our applications across different platforms, running thorough testing cycles, and sharing practical insights about what works well, what feels clunky, and where we can do better.

Requirements: You'll need access to at least one mobile device—an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet—to conduct your testing work.

Contract length: This is an ongoing role with no fixed end date. We'll continue this partnership for as long as it works well for both of us.

Rate: $35 per hour (compensation may adjust depending on application complexity and the scope of your testing work).

Skills/background needed:

• Comfortable navigating mobile devices and downloading/launching applications
• Ability to manage your own workload and stay productive independently
• Meticulous eye for detail and a track record of following directions precisely
• Capacity to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours each week
• Stable, reliable internet access

Hours per week: Total scheduling freedom—set your own hours whenever it works for you, as long as you hit your minimum weekly target.

Location: Work from anywhere with internet (we're actively building our remote-first team and especially welcome US-based applicants). We're building out our distributed team for this project.
