Work from Home Content Writer - Mobile Applications (Beginner Friendly)

Are you enthusiastic about mobile apps and interested in building a career in tech writing? We're expanding our app evaluation team and actively searching for writers who can provide honest, insightful assessments of mobile applications. This role offers an excellent entry point into app critique and technical analysis, where you'll gain hands-on experience testing real products and communicating findings through clear, engaging writing.

Roles: Day-to-day, you'll download and thoroughly test mobile apps, then document your experience in detailed, user-focused reviews. You'll evaluate performance, note functionality gaps, uncover potential issues, and deliver balanced assessments that help readers make informed decisions. Our readers trust us to give them the full picture—both what works well and what doesn't.

Requirements: You'll need at least one mobile device available for testing—an iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone, or Android tablet will do the job.

Contract length: This is a long-term position with no set endpoint; we're building an ongoing team of reliable contributors.

Rate: $35 per hour (adjustments possible depending on review complexity and scope).

Skills/background needed:

• Comfortable navigating mobile devices and installing/using different applications
• Independent worker who manages your own schedule effectively
• Detail-oriented with strong ability to follow guidelines precisely
• Willing to dedicate a minimum of 5 hours each week
• Dependable internet connection with good speed

Hours per week: You have complete control over when you work—set your own hours as long as you hit your 5-hour weekly minimum and fit it into your life.

Location: 100% remote work from anywhere—we're primarily interested in US-based contractors. We're actively bringing on multiple writers as we scale our operations.
